retrobowl.dev is an independent site for people who play Retro Bowl in a browser. It was rebuilt in September 2026 as a static site: no database, no server process, a copy of the game hosted on the domain and a set of pages that load fast on a school Chromebook.

The rest of the site stays on the subject. Around Retro Bowl there is a football shelf — the college version, the 4th and Goal editions, a two-minute drill — and a set of sports and arcade games that suit the same player, each with a plain description, the controls and a couple of tips that came from actually playing it.

How the games work

Retro Bowl is the HTML5 build of the game, served from this domain and run by your browser. Its save lives in the browser’s storage, which is why your career is still there when you come back on the same device. The other games are embedded HTML5 builds from the game host that serves our sites; nothing installs and nothing loads until you press Play.

Who writes the content

The descriptions, control guides, tips and answers on this site are written by the people who run it, after playing the games. Where we describe a mechanic, it is because we have used it. If something we have written is wrong, tell us through the contact page and we will fix it.
